A franchisee in Vendée (France) since 2007, he opened 4 branches in 2014.

With a Sales degree, I had several jobs in the financial sector. Over the years, bank restructuring left less and less room for taking initiative. That’s when I decided to take back control of my future and do something else. I came across the Daniel Moquet network and met with its founder.

Convinced by the franchise project, I decided to create my own branch in 2007. Today I am very pleased with my decision. I split my time between management, recruitment, purchase of equipment, maintenance, customer relations...and it is this diversity that I like.

I met Daniel during an audit of my company for the Qualicert certification. At the end of the audit, Daniel offered me a job as Network Manager. By accepting, I became the first Manager of the network. Then I left and became Sales Director in the wood construction sector. Finally, I returned to Daniel Moquet Driveway Designer in 2011, this time as a Franchisee. In fact, working as the Network Manager, we advise on best practice; promoting it made me want to practice what I was preaching. I started in 2011; in September 2013, I opened my second branch.

To conclude, I would say that a franchise is well managed when there is a good personal investment. The results show, and they can be very rewarding.

Before becoming a franchisee, I was a Technical Manager of the after sales service at Cartier. I come from an international luxury group, and it is a very long way from what I do now! I heard about the franchise from one of my friends, who was already a Daniel Moquet Driveway Designer franchisee, and I really liked the concept.

The franchise is very interesting, it lets you be independent, while benefiting from the Group’s assistance with the launch and day-to-day support. You are the boss, surrounded by your colleagues and the franchisor. If I had to define my work, I would say ‘creation’, ‘solid’, and ‘work for private clients’. This is what I like the most; in a few months, we meet the clients, we prepare their projects, do the works, and at the end we get a smile! It is totally different from big companies where you sometimes need to wait one or two years to see the results of a project.
