Hexastar® uses innovative cell support to maintain a natural gravel finish.

Want a gravel driveway, path or courtyard, but hate sweeping up all of the dislodged stones on a regular basis?

Hexastar® is a gravel stabiliser consists of filling naturally gravel-coloured gridded trays or grids with gravel to create an unmovable layer. Having this supportive structure in place makes the surfacing stable and strong enough to support loads of up to 300 tons per m².

Thanks to the gravel stabilisers honeycomb structure, weed infestation is also a thing of the past and water can pass through into the soil to prevent any puddles forming.

Why choose our porous gravel grid, Hexastar®?

  • The durable surfacing makes a very stable surface for pedestrians, vehicles, wheelchairs and strollers, supporting loads of up to 300 tons/m².
  • The structure of the slabs means you won't have to worry about ruts and holes forming, which means little maintenance is required.
  • Our gravel grid allows a flow of water through the cells so the gravel doesn't turn green and loses its perfect finish.
  • The geotextile stops weeds from rooting into the soil, so any that do occasionally form can be removed easily.
  • The colour is the same as natural gravel for a seamless finish.
  • It's resistant to fouling.
  • Hexastar® is exclusive to Daniel Moquet, so you’re guaranteed quality.
